ISELO is your knowledge companion! 🙋♀️
ISELO assists you to:
1. **Collect Knowledge**: Keep interesting content found on the web or upload your documents or create memos and get back to that whenever you want
2. **Manage Knowledge**: Organize the saved content neatly with tags & lists or archive when done with the knowledge piece
3. **Retrieve Knowledge**: Find any saved knowledge piece using typo-tolerant, blazing-fast search in content title, tags, or even in content details. All content related to a keyword can also be filtered using tags.
4. **Collaborate on Knowledge**: Share & have a focussed discussion with your teammates on the shared knowledge pieces. Also, read recommended content by your knowledge buddies

# Detailed Elements
Understanding the ISELO Dashboard
After login, the ISELO dashboard appears. The crucial elements of the dashboard are:
**LEFT SIDEBAR:**
* **Private Space:** This is an exclusive space. Knowledge like weblinks, files, or memos for personal consumption can be stored here.
* **Team Space:** This is a shared space between you & your team. Multiple teams can be created. They can have common people added if need be.
* **Organization Space:** This is a shared space for the entire organization. Knowledge saved here will be shared with all the members of the organization.
* **Teams/Groups:** Different people can be grouped under one team, depending on their role, function, or any other logic that is deemed useful.
* **Lists:** A list is a collection of knowledge related to a specific topic. For example, in "Customer Care", "Onboarding FAQs" can be one list, which will have knowledge related to onboarding FAQs customers usually ask.
* **Add new Group:** New team/group can be created from the "ADD NEW GROUP" button at the bottom right of the dashboard.
**TOP BAR**
* **Add Link**: Save any interesting web-link to be referred to later. The form is auto-filled with the title & notes. Just add tags (keywords) that can be used to search it later. Also, the visibility of the content i.e private space, team space, or organization can be selected from the left menu. It can further be organized directly in teams & lists from the same menu.
* **Add Memo**: Create a memo (note) about the to-do list, important points. etc. Tags (keywords) can be added to enable easy search later. The visibility of the content i.e private space, team space, or organization can be selected from the left menu. It can further be organized directly in teams & lists from the same menu.
* **Add List**: Create a new list of topics in a team or private space or organization space to organize your knowledge pieces
* **Integrations:** Iselo easily integrates with:
* Any of the web-browser (Chrome, Firefox, or Edge): To save knowledge directly from these browsers
* Slack App: For capturing, sharing & accessing the knowledge directly in Slack app
* Microsoft Teams: For capturing, sharing & accessing knowledge directly in Microsoft Teams
* **Notifications**: If any new content or comment is added in any of the concerned teams a notification appears on the bell icon. When clicked on a notification, it redirects to the relevant knowledge piece or it can also be deleted manually. Unread notifications are highlighted in blue.
* **Profile**: User profile can be edited from here
**SEARCH BAR**
* Content can be easily retrieved with the help of this typo-tolerant search. It searches for the keyword in the content title, tags, or even in content details.
* Archived content can also be searched by enabling the "Show all" switch
**RIGHT SIDEBAR**
* **Tags**: This bar shows the tags of the knowledge pieces in the selected team or list
* **Tag Search Bar:** Tags can be searched here. It is typo-tolerant. The relevant content is automatically filtered based on the tag searched.

# Slack
With the Slack & ISELO integration, you can access knowledge directly from the Slack App. Hence you don't have to toggle between different tabs to access your knowledge base.

## HOW TO INTEGRATE WITH SLACK
* Click the above link or link in the account to install slack's integration
* Select a channel in which ISELO will be able to post & click allow
* This integrates the Slack app with ISELO
## After the integration is complete, Login to ISELO account
* Type "/iselo setup" in the ISELO bot window
* The following message will be displayed by the ISELO bot
* Click the setup link & login to the ISELO account
The below success will be displayed after successful login
* Upload the zip file that was downloaded in step 1
* The ISELO app will be added to your workspace
## After the integration is complete, Login to ISELO account
* Login in the ISELO bot by writing "login"
* The following message will be displayed by the ISELO bot
* Click the Login button & login to the ISELO account
## After Successful Login
* With ISELO you can do the following:
### ⦿ ISELO BOT
* **Help**: It displays the above menu about what ISELO is capable of doing
* **Search**: It displays the search menu:
* Search-private
* search-in-group
* search-all
* **Logout**: With this option, you will be logged out of the ISELO account. You will have to login again to use the ISELO's functions.
* **Search-private**: This option is used to search for a knowledge piece in the private space. Just wite search-private <*keyword to be searched*>
* **Search-in-group:** This option is used to search for a knowledge piece in the group/team space.
* Just wite search-in-group
* Iselo will pop up the list of all teams accessible
* Select the desired team
* **Search-all:** This option is used to search for a knowledge piece in all the knowledge saved in ISELO
### ⦿ CHAT WINDOW
In personal or group chats writing "@iselo" will search for knowledge pieces directly in ISELO from that chat itself
* Just click on ISELO in suggestions.
* The following search bar will open.
* Type in the keyword to be searched
* ISELO will display all the related content
* Select the relevant knowledge piece to be shared in the chat
* A message with that card will be created. wite anything in the card if required, and post it the chat
* The message with the required knowledge piece will be shared in the chat
### ⦿ SEARCH BAR
Knowledge in ISELO can also be searched from the search bar in the top of any chat in Microsoft Teams:
* Write "@iselo" in the search bar & select ISELO from the suggestions
* Type the keyword to be searched in the ISELO search bar
* All the relevant knowledge pieces will be displayed
* Select the knowledge piece to be posted
* The selected knowledge piece can be viewed in the browser by selecting "Open Link"
* Alternatively, it can be copied & pasted in any chat to share knowledge instantaneously with the team/individuals

# Add a Web-link
The best way to save a web-link is to download the browser extension & save the web-link directly from the extension.
Alternatively,
* Copy the link
* Click on the "Add Link" button
* Paste the URL in the URL Box
* The title will be auto-filled
* Enter the tags to help with retrieval later on
* Write a note (description), if required
* Save it for personal use or share it in team or organization space by selecting the visibility. Further team & list can also be selected to organize the content on the spot
# Add a new list
* Click on the "Add List" button
* Enter the list "Name" to be created
* Save it in personal space or share it in team or organization space by selecting the appropriate "Visibility".
* If "Group" is selected, then the "Group Name" will also have to be selected from the drop-down Team menu

* Click on the "Add Memo" button
* Enter the memo "Title" to be created
* Enter the tags to help with retrieval later on
* Add the note/content in the "Notes" space
